Ingredients
You will need:
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.Cream butter and sugars
In a bowl, beat softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and creamy.Add wet ingredients
Mix in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.Add dry ingredients
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.Bake
Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the tray, spacing evenly. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.Cool & serve
Allow cookies to cool slightly on the tray before transferring to a rack.
