Ingredients
You will need:
9 lasagna sheets (regular or no-boil)
500 g ground beef or mince
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jar pasta sauce (or homemade)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1½ cups ricotta or cottage cheese
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
Preheat the oven
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.Prepare the sauce
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook mince until browned, then add onion and garlic and sauté until softened. Stir in pasta sauce and Italian seasoning and simmer for 10 minutes.Layer the lasagna
Spread a thin layer of sauce on the base of the baking dish. Add lasagna sheets, meat sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan on top.Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.Rest & serve
Let lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
