They say the best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago. The second best time to plant a tree is today.

We are now into the second half of 2026, and all I can do is praise God for how faithful He has been through Alofa Tunoa.

I asked my brother the other day, "Hey, do you ever just feel a deep peace and joy in your heart?" He paused for a moment before answering, "Not really."

His response made me reflect on my own life. There was a time when I probably would have answered the same way. But today, by the grace of God, I can honestly say that I have peace.

Not because everything is going well.

Not because life is easy.

But because I know God has me.

Jesus Christ died for my sins, and through Him death has been defeated. Sin no longer has the final word, and Satan no longer has a claim over my life.

Does that mean I'm free from problems? Not at all.

Life has brought its share of struggles, and I'm sure there will be many more to come. But through them all, I know I am in good hands because God is in control.

My parents planted me in God's grace.

Now that I have grown, I want to plant more trees.

God, I'm sorry I haven't been as attentive as usual. Give me strength and guidance so that everything I do brings glory to Your name. May the world know there is a God in my life—the one true God, Creator of heaven and earth.

Amen.
