(Matthew 23:23)
This week’s EFKS theme:
The Gospel of Matthew — Warnings
A Thought for Today
Faithfulness is revealed in the things God cares about.
What This Means for Us Today
Jesus challenges people who carefully observed religious practices while overlooking justice, mercy, and faithfulness.
Our outward actions matter, but so does the heart behind them.
Following God should shape how we treat people, especially when mercy or justice is needed.
Carry This With You
Make room for justice, mercy, and faithfulness.
A Simple Prayer
Lord, shape my heart around what matters to You.
Make me merciful, just, and faithful.
Today’s Invitation
Look for one opportunity to choose mercy today.
Do more than believe what is right — practise it.
