Today’s Reading: Genesis 4:1–16
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)
“Then the Lord said to Cain, ‘What have you done?’”
(Genesis 4:10)
This week’s EFKS theme:
Exile and Home: Driven Away
A Thought for Today
Sin grows when it is not confronted.
What This Means for Us Today
Cain’s anger led to violence. When God asks, “What have you done?” it is not for information. It is an invitation to honesty.
Even in judgment, God places a mark of protection on Cain. Justice is real. Mercy is also real.
God sees what we do — and still speaks.
Carry This With You
Choose honesty before God.
He already knows.
A Simple Prayer
Lord, correct me when I drift.
Help me respond with humility.
Amen.
Today’s Invitation
Reflect quietly today.
Is there something you need to bring honestly before God?
