Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 33:2–13 (EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.”
(Isaiah 33:2)

This week’s EFKS theme:
Isaiah Chapters 1–39 — Deliverance Through God Alone

A Thought for Today

Some mornings we need God’s strength before we have any of our own.

What This Means for Us Today

Isaiah’s prayer begins with dependence.

He does not pretend that God’s people can handle everything themselves. He asks God to be their strength and salvation.

We can begin our days the same way — depending on God before depending on ourselves.

Carry This With You

God can be your strength for today.

A Simple Prayer

Lord, be my strength this morning.
Give me what I need for the day ahead.

Today’s Invitation

Before rushing into your responsibilities today, pause.

Ask God for today’s strength — not tomorrow’s, just today’s.
