Names: People and Places
A Thought for Today
Trust often begins with a simple invitation. Sometimes it is not about having all the answers, but about being willing to take a step and see for ourselves.
What This Means for Us Today
In this passage, Philip invites Nathanael to meet Jesus. Nathanael is unsure and hesitant, yet Philip does not argue or force belief. He simply says, “Come and see.”
Trust grows when we allow ourselves to be led, even when we are uncertain. God often works through people around us, using their faith to guide us toward truth and understanding.
Carry This With You
Be open to where God may be leading you through others today.
Trust can begin with one small step.
A Simple Prayer
God, help me to trust You
even when I am unsure.
Guide me through the people You place in my life.
Amen.
Today’s Invitation
If you feel uncertain today, pause and quietly say, “Come and see.”
Invite God to meet you where you are.
