Today’s Reading: Luke 2:41–51
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
(Luke 2:52)

This week’s EFKS theme:
Finding Jesus: Finding the Youth Jesus

A Thought for Today

Mary and Joseph searched anxiously for Jesus, not understanding at first where He was or why. Even those closest to Him had moments of confusion and concern.

Parenting and guiding others in faith often requires patience and trust.

What This Means for Us Today

Finding the young Jesus through His parents reminds us that faith is learned and lived within family and responsibility. Mary and Joseph did not fully understand Jesus’ words, yet they continued to care for Him faithfully.

God works through ordinary obedience — through showing up, guiding, and trusting Him even when answers are not clear.

Carry This With You

Remain faithful in the responsibilities God has given you today.
Trust that He is at work, even when understanding comes slowly.

A Simple Prayer

God, thank You for those who guide and care for others.
Give us patience, wisdom, and trust
as we walk faithfully in our responsibilities.
Amen.

Today’s Invitation

Take a moment today to pray for parents, caregivers, and those entrusted with responsibility, asking God to strengthen and guide them.
