“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”
(Matthew 21:42)
This week’s EFKS theme:
The Gospel of Matthew — Insights
A Thought for Today
The One who was rejected became the cornerstone.
What This Means for Us Today
Jesus tells stories that expose the difference between appearing faithful and truly responding to God.
Then He points toward Himself — the rejected stone who becomes the cornerstone.
Our faith is not built upon appearances. It is built upon Christ.
Carry This With You
Build your life around Jesus, not appearances.
A Simple Prayer
Lord Jesus, be the foundation of my life.
Help my actions reflect the faith I profess.
Today’s Invitation
Look at one area where your words and actions do not quite match.
Ask Jesus to help you bring them together.
