“Watch out that no one deceives you.”
(Matthew 24:4)
This week’s EFKS theme:
The Gospel of Matthew — Warnings
A Thought for Today
Not every voice deserves our trust.
What This Means for Us Today
Jesus warns His disciples that difficult times would bring confusion, fear, and people claiming things that were not true.
His warning encourages careful faith rather than panic.
We do not need to chase every frightening message. We can remain grounded in Christ and attentive to His truth.
Carry This With You
Stay watchful without becoming fearful.
A Simple Prayer
Lord Jesus, keep me grounded in Your truth.
Give me wisdom to recognise what is false.
Today’s Invitation
When something creates fear or confusion today, do not immediately react.
Bring it before God first.
