Today’s Reading:
Deuteronomy 15:12–18 (EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“When you release them, do not send them away empty-handed.”
(Deuteronomy 15:13)

This week’s EFKS theme:
Stolen from God: Slavery

A Thought for Today

Freedom should come with the opportunity to begin again.

What This Means for Us Today

Israel was told not merely to release servants but to provide generously for them as they left.

God reminded His people that they too had once been slaves in Egypt.

Remembering the grace we have received should make us more generous toward those rebuilding their lives.

Carry This With You

Grace does not simply release. It helps restore.

A Simple Prayer

Lord, make me generous with what You have given me.
Help me remember the grace I have received.

Today’s Invitation

Look for someone who could use practical encouragement today.

Give what you can without expecting anything back.
