Today’s Reading: Luke 2:13–20
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.”
(Luke 2:14)

This week’s EFKS theme:
Finding Jesus: Finding the Youth Jesus

A Thought for Today

The good news of Jesus was first announced while He was still a child, lying humbly in a manger. Heaven rejoiced, even though the world saw nothing impressive.

God revealed His Son not through power, but through presence.

What This Means for Us Today

Finding the young Jesus reminds us that God often works quietly and gently. The shepherds did not find a king on a throne, but a child sent for the world.

God’s peace does not depend on strength or status. It comes from recognising Jesus where He is and welcoming Him with trust and gratitude.

Carry This With You

Look for Jesus in simple and ordinary moments today.
God’s presence is often found where we least expect it.

A Simple Prayer

God, thank You for sending Jesus into the world with humility and love.
Help us to recognise Him in our daily lives
and receive Your peace with open hearts.
Amen.

Today’s Invitation

Pause today and thank God for the gift of Jesus, asking Him to help you notice His presence in the small and quiet moments of life.
