Today’s Reading: Matthew 21:1–11
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
(Matthew 21:9)

This week’s EFKS theme:
The Gospel of Matthew: Voices of Holy Week — From Cheering Crowd to Lone Prayer

A Thought for Today

The crowd welcomes a king, though they do not fully understand Him.

What This Means for Us Today

Jesus enters Jerusalem humbly, riding on a donkey. The people praise Him loudly.

He is both Prince and Prophet — King and Servant. His authority is gentle, not forceful.

Praise can be sincere even when understanding is incomplete.

Carry This With You

Honour Christ for who He truly is.

A Simple Prayer

Lord, help my praise be sincere.
Teach me to recognise Your kingship.
Amen.

Today’s Invitation

Take a quiet moment to thank Jesus as King.
