Fear can change where our attention rests.
What This Means for Us Today
Peter stepped onto the water because he trusted Jesus.
But when his attention shifted to the wind, fear took over.
Even then, Peter only needed a few words: “Lord, save me!” Jesus reached out to him.
Carry This With You
When fear rises, turn your attention back to Jesus.
A Simple Prayer
Lord Jesus, steady me when I am afraid.
Help me keep turning back to You.

When something worries you today, pause before letting fear take over.
