Today’s Reading:
Matthew 14:13–21 (EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)
“They all ate and were satisfied.”
(Matthew 14:20)
This week’s EFKS theme:
The Gospel of Matthew — The Authority of Jesus (Questioning and Establishing It)
A Thought for Today
What seems insufficient to us is not insufficient in the hands of Jesus.
What This Means for Us Today
The disciples saw thousands of hungry people and very little food.
Jesus saw an opportunity to provide.
We may sometimes focus on what we lack, but Jesus invites us to place what we have into His hands and trust Him with what happens next.
Carry This With You
Give Jesus what you have and trust Him with it.
A Simple Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your generous care.
Help me trust You with what feels insufficient.
Today’s Invitation
Instead of focusing on what you lack today, notice what God has already placed in your hands.
