Today’s Reading: 2 Chronicles 36:22–23
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)
“The Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia.”
(2 Chronicles 36:22)
This week’s EFKS theme:
Exile and Home: Driven Away
A Thought for Today
Even after exile, God still moves.
What This Means for Us Today
Jerusalem had fallen. The temple was destroyed. The situation seemed final.
Yet God stirred the heart of a foreign king to allow His people to return.
Despair is not the end when God is involved.
Carry This With You
Trust that God can move hearts beyond your control.
A Simple Prayer
Lord, bring hope where I see none.
Remind me that You are still at work.
Amen.
Today’s Invitation
Hold onto one area where you need hope.
Offer it to God quietly.
