Today’s Reading: Matthew 27:3–5
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse…”
(Matthew 27:3)

This week’s EFKS theme:
The Gospel of Matthew: From Death to Resurrection

A Thought for Today

Some moments feel like there is no way forward.

What This Means for Us Today

Judas reached a place that felt final.

Overcome with regret, he tried to undo what had already been done.

But instead of turning back toward God, he remained in his despair.

This reminds us how heavy guilt can feel when we carry it alone.

Even when we feel stuck, God’s mercy has not disappeared.

Carry This With You

When you feel overwhelmed by regret, do not stay there.

A Simple Prayer

Lord, meet me in my lowest places.
Help me to turn back to You.
Amen.

Today’s Invitation

Bring any hidden guilt into the light today.
