Today’s Reading: Isaiah 43:1–7
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.”
(Isaiah 43:1)
This week’s EFKS theme:
Names: People and Places
A Thought for Today
Being called by name is deeply personal. It reminds us that we are not forgotten, overlooked, or lost in the crowd. God speaks directly to His people, even in moments of fear and uncertainty.
What This Means for Us Today
In Isaiah, God speaks to His people during a time of displacement and fear. Though they feel unsure about the future, God reassures them of their worth and belonging.
Being called by name does not mean life will be free from struggle. It means that God knows us fully and remains present with us through every season. Our identity is not shaped by fear or circumstance, but by God’s claim over our lives.
Carry This With You
Let God’s voice be the one that defines you today.
You are known, valued, and held by Him.
A Simple Prayer
God, thank You for calling me by name.
Help me trust Your presence today
and rest in the truth that I belong to You.
Amen.
Today’s Invitation
Pause sometime today and quietly repeat this verse.
Let it remind you that you are known by God and never alone.
