Today’s Reading: Genesis 3:8–24
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden.”
(Genesis 3:23)

This week’s EFKS theme:
Exile and Home: Driven Away

A Thought for Today

Distance from God began with a choice.

What This Means for Us Today

Adam and Eve were sent out of the garden after disobedience. Exile was not random. It was the result of sin.

Yet even as they were driven away, God clothed them. Judgment and mercy stood together.

Exile reminds us that sin separates — but God still cares.

Carry This With You

Guard your closeness with God.
It is worth protecting.

A Simple Prayer

Lord, keep my heart near to You.
Help me walk in obedience.
Amen.

Today’s Invitation

Pause and ask: is there anything creating distance between you and God?
