Today’s Reading: Isaiah 60:1–6
(EFKS Tusi Faitau Aso)

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”
(Isaiah 60:1, KJV)

This week’s EFKS theme:
Emmanuel — God With Us

A Thought for Today

There are moments when life feels uncertain, like we are walking through the night without knowing what comes next.

Into that space, God speaks clearly: Arise. Shine.

What This Means for Us Today

This verse does not say the darkness is already gone. It says light has arrived.

“The night is nearly over” reminds us that difficult seasons do not last forever. Even when things still feel unclear, God’s presence is already at work.

This is where Emmanuel matters most. God is with us — not only when life feels settled, but right where we are now.

Carry This With You

You don’t need to have everything figured out today.
Take the next step with quiet trust, knowing that God’s light is already breaking through.

A Simple Prayer

God, help us trust Your light when the way feels unclear.
Thank You for being with us today.
Amen.

Today’s Invitation

Pause for a moment today and hold onto this verse.
Let it remind you that the night will not last forever.
