Into that space, God speaks clearly: Arise. Shine.

What This Means for Us Today

This verse does not say the darkness is already gone. It says light has arrived.

“The night is nearly over” reminds us that difficult seasons do not last forever. Even when things still feel unclear, God’s presence is already at work.

This is where Emmanuel matters most. God is with us — not only when life feels settled, but right where we are now.
